Overview

AVAK – GSC Bulk URL Remover (“the Extension”) is a browser extension that automates bulk URL removal requests in Google Search Console. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Data Collection

The Extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information. Specifically:

  • No data is sent to any external server, API, or third-party service.
  • No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind is used.
  • No cookies are set by the Extension.
  • No user accounts or sign-ins are required.

Data Usage

The Extension processes the following data entirely within your browser:

All data is stored locally using the Chrome chrome.storage.local API and is never transmitted outside your browser. Data is cleared when you reset the Extension or uninstall it.

Permissions

The Extension requests the following browser permissions, each required for core functionality:

scripting To inject the content script that automates the GSC removal interface

Third-Party Services

The Extension does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party services. All processing happens locally in your browser.

Third-Party Libraries

The Extension bundles the following open-source libraries for local file parsing. These libraries run entirely in your browser and do not make any network requests:

  • jQuery (slim) — DOM manipulation
  • PapaParse — CSV file parsing
  • SheetJS (xlsx) — Excel file parsing

Data Retention

Uploaded URLs and processing results are stored in your browser’s local storage only for the duration of the current session. You can clear all data at any time by clicking the “Clear” button in the Extension popup or by uninstalling the Extension.

Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
