What data the extension accesses

The extension only ever reads the text you paste, type, or upload into its user interface (for example, the contents of a .htaccess file). That text stays in your browser’s memory while you use the extension and is discarded when you close the popup or options page.

The extension does not:

• Access any browser tab content
• Read browsing history or cookies
• Make network requests of any kind
• Transmit or sync anything to remote servers
• Use third-party SDKs, analytics, or telemetry

What data the extension stores

The extension stores no data. Any text you paste, type, or upload lives in browser memory while the popup or options page is open, and is discarded when that page is closed.

Permissions

This extension requests no permissions. The manifest declares no permissions, no host_permissions, no <all_urls>, no activeTab, no scripting, no tabs, no webRequest, no cookies, and no storage. The install dialog shows no permission warnings, which you can verify on the extension’s listing page.

Third parties

No third parties receive any data from this extension. There are no analytics, no error reporting, no remote configuration, no third-party SDKs, and no remote-hosted code. The extension is fully self-contained.

Compliance with Google’s Limited Use requirements

This extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

• We do not use user data for any purpose other than the single user-facing feature of the extension (linting and simulating .htaccess rules on the user’s device).
